At Glendorgal Hotel, Newquay, Cornwall we are excited to provide Commitment Ceremonies.  Commitment Ceremonies are a relatively new idea and allow a couple to express their love and commitment to each other in a public gathering or privately without all the legal aspects of marriage.  Many couples decide to do commitment ceremonies simply because they do not feel the need to ask permission of government offices the right to dedicate their lives to each other but want to have a ceremony to mark the occasion.

So what is a Commitment Ceremony?

A Commitment Ceremony is a meaningful and dignified ceremony for adult couples. The purpose of the Ceremony is to make a public declaration of life-long commitment, love and dedication between two people. The occasion can be shared with family and friends or the ceremony can be held in private without guests. You are able to give your promises to each other, exchange rings, and invite your guests to participate in the ceremony. A commemorative certificate is presented to mark the occasion

A Commitment Ceremony does not have any legal implications and does not provide you with any legal rights or responsibilities. This means that this service can be performed anywhere.
